What is Nutrition Coaching?

Nutrition coaching is a one-on-one relationship with a nutritionist that guides you to a healthy lifestyle by sharing their expertise and insights,  and providing encouragement and accountability. For more information, read our blog post about Nutrition Coaching.

What does S.M.A.R.T. stand for?

The "S.M.A.R.T." in S.M.A.R.T. Nutrition is an acronym for the guidelines we use to help you set and achieve your health and wellness goals.

Working with your nutritionist, you will create and achieve goals that are:
Tailored to YOU

Do you accept insurance?

At this point, S.M.A.R.T. Nutrition is not participating with any insurance companies. If you would like to try to bill your insurance for out of network benefits, you are welcome to, and we will provide you with any documentation that you might need in order to do so.

Do you do phone or Skype sessions?

Phone and Skype sessions can be done upon request for out-of-area clients. The initial nutrition assessment appointment is best done in person, so if you are able to come into the office, we ask that you please do so. All other nutrition coaching sessions do not need to be done in person, but we find that most people thrive in an in-person setting. When scheduling an appointment, please specify your preference for in-person, on the phone, FaceTime, Skype or another video-chatting service.

Do you take appointments on Sunday?

Occasionally we are able to accommodate Sunday appointments. Please reach out to us for more information.
